Nestled in the little Prickly Pear Valley is the Heart of
the Hills Ranch, located twenty eight miles northwest
of the state capitol of Montana, Helena. Experience a day
of relaxation and good times in the perfect
spot for:
The Heart of the Hills Ranch is a operating cattle ranch
just as it was when it was homesteaded before the turn of
the last century. The old log barns were built from trees
left standing after a fire in the early nineteen hundreds
are still used to this day to store hay and shelter
cows during calving. The blacksmith shop, also built
of log, kept the tools and forge to repair the horse drawn
equipment that you can still see on the ranch.
Now, with the addition of two ponds, a variety of gardens
and a charming gazebo where you can look right
at the Continental Divide, we've created the perfect spot
for your event. In this quiet setting, with no dust
or noise, you can listen to the birds or watch the pan-size
trout in the small creek which
flows gently through the ranch. Wildlife abound
in the area.
